Our History
E. Warricker Plumbing was established in 1992 by Mr. Ettiene Warricker and has become well know and established as a plumbing service provider in the Durbanville/Bellville and the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Mr. Ettiene Warricker’s career as a Plumber all started in 1989 when he met Mr. Helmut E Boehnke a German from Hamburg, with all his high standards and expertise were the reason of H.E. Boehnke(Pty) Ltd and H.E.B. Maintenance(Pty) Ltd group of Plumbing companies success over the years. Mr. Helmut E Boehnke was the founder Member of the I.O.P.S.A. and was the leading company in training and every Artisan knew him as being the best and it became the most sort after Company to do your Training with.
Mr. Ettiene Warricker had the privalage to be hands on trained by Mr. Helmut E Boehnke and working 7 days a week. Mr. Ettiene Warricker qualified as a Artisan Plumber in 1991. He had a dream to run his own Business and in 1992 it all became a reality and E. Warricker Plumbing was established with the blessings from his then father-in-Law Mr. Helmut E Boehnke, with an old Vehicle and only a R30.00 in his pocket, lots of guts, faith, prayers and hardwork his dream became a reality.
Today E. Warricker Plumbing is a family business, with his wife Ilonja Warrricker and our very highly skilled employee’s being employed for 10 to 20years, meaning that we have honest, reliable and hardworking employees that provides excellent service to our clients.
Mr. Ettiene Warricker does all quotation’s and overseing every job no matter how big or small to ensure the best quality of workmanship and that all our client’s expectations are being met by our clients with reliable, professional and quality guaranteed work.
E. Warricker Plumbing is a Registered Kwikot Installer and is fully trained in Solar and Heat Pump installations and all installations is done strictly according to the S.A.B.S. Code 0254 Standards of Approval. E. Warricker Plumbing is Members of the I.O.P.S.A. (Institute of Plumbing of South Africa) and PIRB (Plumbing Industry Registration Board).
Our company has gone through a very difficult period as Mr. Ettiene Warricker was diagnosed with Leakemia stage 4 Cancer in January 2014, and fighting for his life after all his organs failed, he contracted a life threatening fungus on his heart and lungs and undergoing open heart surgery after the effect of the treatment of the Chemotherapy his body basically gave in.
After miraciously recovering from all of this and his sister being a 100% Bone Marrow match, he had a very successfull Bone Marrow Transplant in March 2016. Mr. Ettiene Warricker is still in remission since then.
Another tradegy happened in October of 2016 when two of our long standing Plumbers of 20years passed away, Pikkie due to T.B and John being killed in a Car accident. Both of them are being missed terribly.
During these very trying times Ilonja Warricker was keeping E. Warricker Plumbing a-flout. We could like to thank all our long standing valued customers for their continued support, love, understanding, patients and helpfulness during the last 3 years, we appreciate all your support.
Mr. Ettiene Warricker is full time back to fullful his duties as the Owner of E. Warricker Plumbing. Thanking the Lord for helping us through these trying times.
